"Greyhound Fundraising"

The Giving Greymoms is a group of greyhound adopters who have made a collaborative effort to better the lives of as many greyhounds as possible.

The Giving Greymoms will hold monthly Raffles & Auctions to benefit a greyhound in need, especially seniors, special needs or injured greys. On occasion, we will be fundraising for specific adoption groups. Donations for the events come mostly from greyhound vendors and personal owners.


Since our inception in April of 2001, we have managed to raise nearly $30,000 for greys and adoption groups in need. We are pleased by the astounding success of our efforts thus far; we hope to extend our work to the lives of many greys to come.

The Giving Greymoms worked for 2½ years to raise over $100,000.00 to help retired racing greyhounds and some other rescue breeds. Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to end our run at raising funds, but please email Mik Wilkens at mik@mikdesign.com for information on her auctions that will begin in August 2003.
